The young participants of the Signal curators program are creating an art-bed with Spacecraft, Tai Snaith and Miso—and they’re installing it for a one-day-only slumber-art party at MPavilion. Using soft sculpture, screen-printing and embroidery they will create an environment for reading, drawing and reflecting—bringing the intimacy of the private space into the public realm.

At 1pm, Tai and Miso will grab a pillow and discuss the inspirations behind the art-bed—as well as their own artistic processes and influences—for the last of four art chats hosted by the young people at Signal. Take a break from your portrait drawing, grab a coffee from the kiosk and listen to two of Melbourne’s favourite artists in conversation.
