A series of interactive talks, presented by the Wheeler Centre, in which prominent artists discuss shows performed as part of Melbourne Festival. The catch? The artists must talk about artworks from outside their own practice. Come and find out what artists really think about each other’s work, in this fascinating, cross-disciplinary discussion on the practice and presentation of art. This Saturday’s panel—including Dancehouse director Angela Conquet, theatre director Ian Pidd, director and dramaturg Daniel Schlusser, and Rawcus artistic director Kate Sulan—will talk about representations of the body across art forms, touching on themes such as physicality and space, in the context of circus-meets-strings performance Opus and the festival’s Framed Movements exhibition at ACCA.
