In the classic Australian surf movie Endless Summer (1966), Bill Brown tells us that the keys to unlocking a path to new frontiers of revelry and freedom are, simply, infinite cash and time. It’s 2015, and despite a nice little break around the new year, that cash/time problem isn’t showing many signs of loosening its grip. It could be a good time to accept that the frontier we’re approaching is more Endless Bummer than summer. Still, in good faith, we might at least sing to ‘the ending of the age of Aquarius’. In the spirit of facing up to the inevitable lows and unexpected highs of another year, dancing underneath the radar and rebalancing the life/work balance, Liquid Architecture, Fallopian Tunes and an intrepid troupe of artists invite you to party like it’s already 2015.
