From 1 to 23 November 2014, NGV Studio is hosting the first Australian iteration of The Instrument Builders Project. Curated by Kristi Monfries and Joel Stern, IBP invites artists to conceptualise, build, exhibit and perform new sonic artworks together over the course of a month spent in a shared workshop. The space is open to the public and features scheduled public programs punctuated by periods of experimental ‘free time’.

In a satellite event at MPavilion, visiting IBP artists will collaborate with Slow Art Collective, led by Dylan Martorell, as part of ‘Leaf House Furniture Music’ on Sunday 9 November.
