Have you ever wanted to be part of something bigger than yourself? Led by international participatory sonic project Super Critical Mass, and presented as part of Melbourne Music Week, this bell-ringing workshop responds to the architecture of MPavilion and its garden surrounds with beautiful music. You don’t need to be a performer to participate: bell-ringers will perform a simple sonic task, using the identical mobile sound source of bells to send out waves of sound that articulate the social, spatial and sonic parameters of MPavilion.
