The Text Publishing Company is a Melbourne-based independent publisher of literary fiction and non-fiction. Text's authors include Helen Garner, Peter Temple, Murray Bail, Kate Grenville, Graeme Simsion, J. M. Coetzee, Ruth Ozeki, S. J. Watson, and many others. The Australian Book Industry Awards has named Text Small Publisher of the Year for the past three years running.
