He is a registered architect and urban designer with broad experience in the area of residential architecture, activity centre urban design and master planning. He has particular skills in the undertaking of urban design frameworks for urban infill and activity centre sites, and facilitating ‘on the ground’ public realm outcomes via a collaborative urban design approach. He is passionate about constructing urban places and spaces focused on the people that use and enjoy them.

Orlando’s skills and experience in developing residential and mixed-use design ‘typologies’ are used to inform urban design and planning at both the micro, single-site level and the wider scale level of structure and development plans. Experience with a wide range of significant public and private sector clients means Orlando brings a high level of client and stakeholder communication, cooperation and consultation in project management.

It is this combination of wider scale urban design sensitivities along with the experience in built form and architectural massing that brings added value to the urban design process.

Orlando is currently the project director on major town centre masterplans in Toolern and Armstrong Creek his project management skills and passion for urban design is being delivered.
